Quilty quilt!

So, this is the quilt I told you I started 3 years ago. Now...the truth is, I worked on it everyday for about 2 weeks three years ago. Then I worked on it everyday for about 2 weeks or so this year. And now it's done! I'm SO PLEASED. I just love it. It's got a kinda vintagey feel in person and I'm just a bit obsessed with it. It's definitely not perfect. But I kinda like that about it.

Tonight I am going to try to RUN. Around the river with my friend. I'm super nervous about it. I'm planning on only running once a week or so...I don't want to overdo it and I like having variety in my workouts. Planning on incorporating some yoga soon as well. Don't worry, I'm still a firm Zumba believer! I just need some more I think. Wish me luck! Hopefully I don't die.

Oh my gosh Danielle, that is sooooo beautiful!! I have friends that are "quilters" big time, and they say that it the imperfections that make it home made and therefore authentic a collectors item. :-) That made me want to maybe quilt again. love you!!

I am LOVING the colors! I totally sense the vintagey-ness of it and I love it. It is so you and you did a fabulous job! Good luck on your run :) You'll do great. And I'm totally with you, variety is better! Way easier to stay motivated that way. I'm so proud of you for doing so good at exercising!

Congrats on the quilt. It looks just like you. Running. Start slow. Like run a bit, then walk, then run then walk. Running is hard. For me, it took me a month to be able to run just a mile, probably. And it makes me worry about your knees. So don't give up if it goes rough the first time. But man, if you become a runner- it is like the best feeling. I ran with Greg for like 4-6 months. It was the best. But I never ran more than 2 miles on a regular basis. Usually just 1 mile. Pretty pathetic, but it was enough for me.

Beautiful!!! You are so awesome. =) I've been wanting to make a denim quilt with diamonds like that, but I'm too stupid to figure out how to do it. Would you want to share your measurements with someone mathematically disabled? lol
