Yay for stupid nights
Our friends were supposed to show up at 6:00. 6:00 came and went. 6:05...6:10...6:12...I tell clay to call. He calls...and they say, sorry we're running late (maybe you should call...) we'll be there in 3 minutes. After 10 more minutes they arrive. So basically they arrived 25ish minutes late to dinner. Now. I made the most devine parmesan chicken and amazing french bread. All of this home made and delcious. I had it made at a quarter till, because usually guests arrive early and I am not ready in time. SO the food was waiting for about 45 minutes before it was eaten. Thank goodness it still tasted good. THEN...it was kind of like, we asked questions...and no questions returned. They answered our thoughtful questions and didn't ask anything back. I can only think of so many questions to ask. OH...then they mentioned for some reason that they had just been to someone elses house for dinner yesterday and they served them steaks. Wow, I feel special for serving chicken when you just got steak, and so willingly told me you loved it.
So the xbox party comes...and i'm thinking more wives would come because that's what happened last time i guess, and there were only like 3 of us and it was boring and then we went and they like...wanted to watch them play xbox. I was bored out of my ever loving mind. I said, I'm going downstairs. I'll be back in a bit! So i go downstairs to my apt and start reading harry potter. Then about 30 minutes later...a girl comes and says, we are going to make a pie. Are you interested? I decide i will go make a pie (at 10:30pm...) it was fine, we talked and had quality conversation...but i worked my tail off pealing apricots, and the pie was discusting. All of them thought it was amazing...I AND Clay, thought it was gross. Don't you love that? I swear I am cursed because my family is full of amazing cooks, so when I taste normal food...it's gross. So we were eating gross pie...and continuing to watch video games...I ask clay if he wants to go to bed and he was actually having a blast. OF COURSE HE IS. He is doing what he loves, playing video games. SO, I decided to sneak out, say goodnight and go to bed. Instead I decided to come and vent on my blog. Afterwards, I will probably check to make sure none of you have posted a new blog, and then read some harry potter, and then go to bed.
I am sure this sounds pathetic, but it was just such a bummer because I was so looking forward to this night. I don't know what I was thinking. It's okay though. The lake was fun, I am burnt but not so badly that it wont turn to tan I dont think. And tomorrow I can relax (and do homework).
I love you all so much.

On to book five...
Tomorrow we are going to Rigby Lake. I am SO excited. I will get to wear my new swimsuit! Then we are having the Marshalls over for dinner, our new couple friends. Then after dinner, clay and some men from the ward are having a huge HALO party. Halo is an x-box game. If you don't know what an x-box is, it is a device to play video games on. Anyway, it should be fun I guess. I don't know what me and the girls will do, but we will probably just chat and gossip about our husbands. OH! And I decided on neither taco salad nor teriyaki chicken. I decided to make parmesan chicken and french bread. Yummm....
Clay finished his painting on the huge canvas I gave him for christmas. For those of you who don't know, Clayton is a very talented artist, and very humble...no one knows of his talent until they ask who painted the paintings on our walls. He has amazing paintings that he did in his young teens that we have hanging. His latest painting is a bit interesting, probably strange to some...but we love it. I think he did great! Anyway, I just thought you'd like to see them. The biggest one, is his most recent. Love you all!
This one he did when he was 14....

What color???
So...I've decided to do what Amy has done, and paint my frames. However, I am way too scared to pick a color on my OWN...and Clay is hesitant to give a confident opinion. So. This is the picture of our pillows (that I made) which, in case you can't tell...has green, blue, and brown in them. PLEASE. Help me decide which color to paint my frames. Blue, Green, Brown? I don't know!
Oh, also...we are having a couple we just barely became acquainted with over for dinner on Friday. I am either thinking a Teriyaki (i know i spelled that wrong..) type of stir fry dish...OR taco salad. Which sounds better for first time guests? She is from Brazil, he is from...I don't know where. But they are a fun couple and we are hoping to become good friends!

A good day
One of the many duties of today was to make bread. I tell you, anyone with a Bosch mixer or a KitchenAid...IT IS WORTH THE EFFORT! After baking bread a few times...it isn't such a big deal. Just do it. It is so worth it, when you cut a warm piece of bread...spread butter across it, and feel delighted as you eat a piece of healthy, delicious, whole wheat bread. I LOVE IT! It also helps when Clay loves it, which he did.
Another thing I did today was finish my Accounting homework. Guess when it's due? A week from today! I have never done that before. Usually I am finishing it the day it's due. Not this time. I did it ALL, and I feel wonderful.
I have just realized that for about a week now my days have been absolutely wonderful. My realization was actually that this past week, I have been very good about scripture study and have started praying when riding my bike to school. Until this week, I had not been doing as well with scriptures and it is just another testimony that scripture study makes life infinity times better. How blessed we are to have the gospel.
I really love this blogging thing. I like to know that my sister has teeth marks on her head, and that another almost ran over a team of football players. It is also fun to read about my parents goat experiences and see silly pictures. I love you and miss you all....I hope you are all having as good of days as I am.

Spoiler Alert on the character JK Rowling commented on!
So just to update everyone in my life, I am seriously thinking of getting my Masters in Accounting. We are thinking about it, and decided we will see if we can transfer to BYU in about a year and a half and I would start my graduate studies and Clay would finish up his undergrad, and possibly do HIS graduate studies at BYU as well. We aren't sure if credits will transfer though, so it is all dependent upon that. If they don't, it may very well still happen...just at a later time. It is pretty exciting to think about though. We are both very young, and able to do these things...so unless something else comes up, this is our plan I guess.
The summer semester only has 12 days of classes left. NOT including finals, but finals week doesn't involve classes...only tests. I kind of like it that way. Anyway, I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!! I am desperately desiring to rearrange my walls. I think I might take Amy's idea and paint my frames. I'm not sure though. Overall, I am so excited. I kind of want to do different pictures from the past year, not JUST wedding. What do you think? I wish we had kids, just so that we didn't have so much of ourselves. For some reason I feel funny just putting up our faces all over the place.
I have never liked grapefruit but for some reason I have been wanting one REALLY bad lately. So, I bought two today at the grocery store and we will eat them for breakfast tomorrow. I can't wait! Tonight I made homemade pizza and breadsticks. Clay was praising me for it through the whole meal...he said it "hit the spot". He is such a good husband. For some reason I need that. When I make a meal, I feel awful if no one compliments it. He always acts like I am a gourmet chef when I bake or cook. I love him:)
Well, probably only 2 people have lasted this long. I wasn't expecting to write this long blog, but...well....I did. Love ya!

Interesting Harry Info
" Finally, the big tidbit that got all the Harry Potter geeks mumbling in hushed whispers to each other. In the original draft of the screenplay for ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, they had decided to remove a character from the story. Rowling read over the screenplay and said “I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” that they were free to do whatever they liked, of course, but “if you make a 7th movie you’ll have tied your hands.”
Heyman wouldn’t reveal who that character was and all the Potter nerds (myself included) were debating the point afterwards. Theories included Grawp, Luna and Bellatrix. Luna might be a possibility, but I thought it might be extra tricky of them if they meant James Potter, who we see in a flashback (those that have read the book know what part).
Did Heyman mean that the scene was important or the character itself? Hrmmm…"
Personally, I think it is either Bellatrix or James Potter. Because those two scenes are definitely ones they could've left out without confusion in the movie. AND I've read that Bellatrix says like 5 total words in the movie...and that she has a very small role. BUT Luna very well could be a possibility. Who else could it be!!! I am so excited to read 5 again so that I could see possibilities. Hmmm...

I Did It!
Now...what did I do? Well, after many close encounters...I got 100% on my Accounting exam today!!! YAY! I can't count how many times I got only 1 answer wrong, or 2. I had decided it just wasn't in the works for me. But, it happened. I walked slowly from the testing center hall....into the hall where the screen is...where all the scores are. Keep in mind, the ones with A's have words next to them like... "Fantastic!"... or "Excellent!" I looked at my number and it said "100% Outstanding!" I gasped and was very happy. I hope you don't think I'm gloating, because I'm not. This is just a big day, and I'd like to share it with you all! Then, riding my bike home in 90 degree weather, clear blue skies, I thanked Heavenly Father for such a wonderful life. I go through a beautiful park on my way home and I just love the nature and beautiful world. Then, one of the best parts...that is still ongoing at this moment, is when my parent-in-laws came and purchased snow-cones for Clay and I. I really hope all of you have the chance to taste these snow-cones someday because they are truly incredible. I have never tasted anything like them.
By the way...28 days!!! I figured out that I have to read 80 pages a day to finish the rest of the Potter books before the big day. I think I can handle it. I have 4, 5, and 6 left.

Peter Pettigrew
I just finished Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban (the 3rd) for the millionth time probably and I caught something that I had never thought seriously about. In the last chapter, Harry and Dumbledore are talking about how Harry saved Peter Pettigrew's life, and how he regretted it because of Professor Trewlawney's prediction. Dumbledore said,
"Pettigrew owes his life to you......When one wizard saves another wizard's life, it creates a certian bond between them..."
Harry then says,
"I don't want a connection with Pettigrew! He betrayed my parents!"
Now this is the big thing I am trying to show you... Dumbledore now says,
"This is magic at its deepest, its most impenetrable, Harry. But trust me...the time may come when you will be very glad you saved Pettigrew's life." (pg. 427)
Could this come about in the 7th? Is this really going to be a significant ordeal? I am really wondering if JK Rowling knew from this point, and planned in the 7th for Pettigrew to have a major role...Interesting eh?
In case you haven't caught on...I am among the BIGGEST Harry Potter fan around. I check mugglenet.com daily for updates on anything Harry Potter. Lovely waste of time, I know, but I can't help it! I love the story. In case you aren't aware, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out in 35 days. This is the final of the series, the end.
Feel free to comment on your opinion of what I have said. I just love reading the books after you've read the latest. They reveal so much you never realized before.
By the way, I got a new swimsuit from Down East Outfitters. I LOVE IT!

Apron
Well, I told you my life wasn't that exciting. I purchased some fabric and an apron pattern and made myself this apron! I like it a lot. Clay thinks its "hot". It wasn't that hard either. I am teaching an enrichment tomorrow on how to make "Italian Skillet Chicken", and so I am really excited that I finished it in time to wear it while I'm demonstrating! Anyway, school is going well. Last week I got a B on an Accounting test, which I was bummed about...but yesterday I found out that they didn't have the right answer keyed in on one question, and I ACTUALLY got one more right, making my grade an A! I love it when that happens. Took a statistics test yesterday, don't know the score yet, hopefully an A as well...not as likely though. Clay and I are planning to see "In the Land of Women" tonight. It's in the cheap theater and we have a coupon for buy one ticket get one free. So basically, we are excited. I just hope it's good! I love you all, feel free to compliment my sewing;)

Camping
Clay and I went camping with our two neighbors that live above us. We went for just one night, and came home the next afternoon. It was nice. We had a fire, roasted hot dogs (that I actually ate and enjoyed...), ate smores, and talked. Clay borrowed his dad's mini axe...i think it might be called a hatchet? I'm not sure. Anyway, he had that thing in his hand the entire trip. He loved chopping wood. The scenery was really beautiful... I asked our friend to take our picture, and she did...it's pretty...but you can't even see our faces. I kind of wanted it close up, oh well! The one with Clay and his axe was taken by me...just a warning...I am awful at taking pictures. I will try to get better.
