Smells like Christmas

This morning about 10am, it started snowing. It stopped for about...an hour or so around 6. And then hasn't stopped since!

It's okay though. Clay turned on the heater before he left for work so the house was toasty warm when I came home for lunch. I switched my ballet slippers for boots, got out my coat, and mentally planned to make yummy soup.

Then I made soup after work and it didn't turn out as well as I'd imagined. But it was still aight. I know I've said this before, but...this year I plan on embracing winter :) We'll see how that goes.

Clay didn't work till midnight tonight! YIPPEE! He's getting some much needed sleep right now though. He's been working hell hours. I can say that cause it's true. Poor guy. He's worn out.

Did Zumba tonight and we learned the "thriller" dance! It was super fun. I've gotta say- Zumba is awesome! I get such a good workout and such a good high from it.

Pretty excited for these next two weeks to pass. I take my last exam in less than two weeks. I better pass! I'm sick of this studying business.

Well...that's all for now I suppose. Sorry if my posts are lacking in the next couple weeks cause of the whole studying thing I just mentioned. BOOOO. It will all be worth it, right? Right.

haha still can't get over that snow. That's too bad your soup didn't turn out. I know Rebecca is really good at making soup, maybe you should call her. I don't know how to make soup. I have NEVER made soup! ha. Wow, turning on a heater, we finally have transitioned from the AC to just opening the windows. I think it sounds fun to have winter and snow. I'm afraid we might not have any seasons here. that is so cool you learned the thriller dance! So cool! You will pass your test. You are so smart and so diciplined at studying. I love you so much! Can't wait to see you on the holidays.

Wow! The snow is just around the corner. I am not ready for it here. We've had 50 degree weather this week and thankfully it is going back up to the 70's and I hope it stays around for a while. I made a super easy creamy chicken noodle soup last night. It was yummy. My other favorite is Zuppa Toscana from Olive Garden. Other than that, my soup skills stop. What kind did you try making?

It was freezing here yesterday too. And I had a good attitude. I was enjoying snuggling up with Michael. So between that, and your post, I am convinced to try to embrace winter!

Wow, the thriller dance. I am so jealous. Honestly. Im jealous of zumba all together. I just can't do it right now. Sorry your soup didn't turn out. I get so FRUSTRATED when that happens! Like my pizza making this morning. I was VERY frustrated and have yet to perfect this creation that I love so dearly when OTHERS make it. Oh well, I am determined. I'm going to get it down. I didn't know you were embracing winter! That's great. I hope it works. I need to embrace things in my life. Certain things just aren't going to change (like Idaho winters), so I need to embrace because I'll never win the fight with things that don't change! Good luck on your test. I'm so glad you get to be done soon. What an accomplishment! I can't wait 'till you get your scores back. I really think that's so amazing you did it! Now you won't have to do it again! And you can just reap the benefits. Man, midnight working??? That is awful. I totally feel your pain. But it seems like I'm seeing MY husband more than you're seeing yours. That never happens. I'm sorry. I hope it ends soon and you get loads of time together. Alright. Love you. Bye.

I am so so jealous right now, I miss Idaho like crazy and I would love to see some snow right now. Embrace it and know that no matter how hard your situation is, I am here a little envious of some aspects of it.

I am so sorry your soup was passable but not what you wanted. I can make pretty good soup and in winter I make lots. So Christmas maybe I can give you a lot of recipes. Midnight, what a pain, and snow, I always love snow when it comes and melts in a few days, but the kind we had in UT when we were there stayed!!! I have to admit I got pretty tired of it. So embracing it sounds like a good plan. I will pray for you to enjoy winter this year. You will pass the test and it will be wonderful not to have to study so much, you have really accomplished so much and it is such a joy to see the end of the goal, and have a lot to show for all of the work you have done. I love you and look forward to Christmas. Hugs and kisses
