The only reason to look forward to winter time...

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

Oh dear. This was so good. I even made the noodles homemade! DELISH! Sometime soon I'll put a sort of recipe on the chef blog...but for now, I need to do the dishes, and then go watch Pirates of the Carribean with the hubs. He just got the trilogy on blu-ray. We're pretty pumped about it. Have I told you yet? We are completely hooked on the blu-ray thing.

And soup isn't the ONLY reason to look forward to winter. There's hot chocolate too. And Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, all the holidays of course. Which come with holiday treats as well. I guess there is just one draining thing that makes me loath winter: snow.

Oh well...I told my sister Amy the other day I plan on embracing winter this year. We'll see how it goes. I'm not making any promises...!

Also, I plan on doing something to my hair sometime soon. I ALMOST did this when I was in Oregon, but then Megan was too tired (she was 8 months pregnant) (oh and also, I mean the COLOR not the cut- I'm continuing to grow my hair out):

Megan thought my hair is pretty similar but I dunno...I just don't feel like it is. Or I could do something like I did this time:

Or.....I could go darker again:
This retarded picture is probably the best idea of what my hair is like NOW....kinda bleh:
And I do plan on growing out my bangs still. So keep that in mind as WELL. Anyone have an opinion? I don't know why I'm asking...seems like everytime I ask people's opinions I do the opposite. But I guess I still just like to know!

Alright- I'm off to do the dishes. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I love winter soups too, slow cooking, baking bread, using the oven, all the stuff that goes with winter...except the snow. Your hair? You would look cute no matter what you did to it. My advise, keep it longer as for as long as you can. After having kids, a woman usually has to kiss it goodbye. Love u

haha- to penny's comment. Ok- here's the deal- I love the dark with the blunt bangs, but since you're not growing the bangs out- I would go blonde or the carmel blonde. Hmmm Well, you know I've always loved you as a blonde- but the carmel one kind of is a mix between blonde highlights and some darkness, so it's the "besssssssst of both worlds" (hanna montana song) love you-oh yeah and teh soup sounds so good! helo, home made noodles???? what the heck! you are amazing!

I love having winter soup, and lots of homemade bread. Yummo as Rachel says. Also like all of the other things with apples and pumpkin. Won't be having much of that this winter. Your hair, I am with Penny, I think you would look cute whatever you do. I like you with blond and I really like the carmel blond look. Hugs and Kisses

Ok, hair. I LOVE the brown one, but with the bangs. Without bangs, blonde is always so glamourous. But if you want the reddish, goldish brown hair- do it!!! I think it would look great and you've been wanting it for a long time now. Home made soup IS the best! I discovered that this last fall. It's amazing and not as hard as I used to think to make. Ooo and home made rolls. More difficult but YUMMY!!! I discovered this year that Greg doesn't dig the rolls. It kind of drains the motivation to make them a little. Snow. Uh. I'm so glad I don't live in Idaho. But really, you do LIVE there now- pretty permanently. So embracing sounds like a wonderful plan. I really think you can decide to like it if you just do! Love you!

The soup looks and sounds amazing. You are such a good photographer. Homemade noodles. Wow. Lucky Clay.

The hair. You are stunning no matter what, but....I am leaning to the blond. You are a beautiful blond, and I'm with Megan, there is something glamorous about blond. Now I like different, so the picture with different blonds of the Bella actress is very pretty and gutsy. I want to do something pretty and gutsy. I wonder if I can afford it in CA. Probably not. Love you tons.

You make your own noodles?! Good crap, danielle- you're awesome! And I LOVE the picture with your hair dark. That's my favorite :) Getting hair done is so fun, I can't wait to see how it turns out!
