21

I think that I am pretty much AWESOME now that I'm 21:) Can you believe it? I can.

The birthday was great! Went to worked- that sucked. But they got me a cheesecake which tasted like crap, so that was nice.

Patty and Paul took us out for the traditional birthday dinner. We went to Olive Garden- it was good. They also bought a cheesecake from olive garden...except it wasn't exactly cheesecake it was a combination of sorts...anyway- it was really good and I got to take home the whole thing!

Patty and Paul got me Twilight. We watched it. This part is so romantic. This was my third time watching it and I LOVED IT! The first two times I liked it, but had a hard time. This time I was warm throughout the whole thing. It was simply wonderful. It made me SO excited for New Moon to come out!

Oh yeah, and Clay's parents also got me my camera at Christmas time which was part Birthday as well. Which I LOVE!

My mom and dad got me AWESOME presents and let me open them when they were here about a month ago. I need to take pics. One was a Martha Stewart Cooking School book. LOVE IT! It is basically a manual for EVERYTHING kitchen/cooking/baking. HELLO! Totally my thing. I didn't even know that book existed, but it is SO ME! It was such a surprise and I was SO HAPPY! I also got a marble rolling pin (so nice, already used it many times), a 1/3 cup scoop, and pattern weights.

Clay TOTALLY spoiled me. I REALLY need to take pics of what he got me. He got me the Mamma Mia piano music (total surprise), 3 shirts, a pair of capris, and High School Musical 3. HELLO! I guess the clothes were all clearanced and SUPER good deals. None of my presents have come yet except Mamma Mia music, so he found a creative way to give them to me...that will come with the pictures tomorrow probably. Clay claims that he was justified in getting me all that stuff because even though I have a lot of clothes, they are all worn out- which is totally true. So many of my clothes are WAY faded and WAY balled up. Many even have holes in them...and I STILL wear them! Yikes. That sounds horrible and tacky.

Overall it was a great day! I'm sad that tomorrow is not birthday day. I have had fun saying to Clay, "Hun, it's my birthday...I can say want I want" or, "Hun, it's my birthday, do what I say". You know- things like that. This weekend is general conference- I am so excited. Patty got us tickets to go to the Saturday afternoon session at the conference center! I am super excited!

Pretty in Pink was in the $5 bin at Walmart. We bought it. I'm so excited. I can already feel the tears swelling up. Confused? Me too. I don't know WHY I cry EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch that movie. I have NEVER seen ANYONE ELSE cry at that movie. But somehow I ALWAYS do. And it's not only crying...it's full on BAWLING. That end scene where Duckie just lets her go and tells her to go after him...it's so heartbreaking, heartwarming, and just pulls the tears right out of me. Amy, I know you are smiling or laughing or shaking your head right now:) Just as you always do when we watch it and I start crying!

Well, I better go to sleep...so I can wake up and work.....................UGHHHHHHHHHHH. K. Love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to me! Oh- and thank you to everyone who called to wish me Happy Birthday! If you didn't get ahold of me- sorry...I heard EVERYONE'S messages. I really appreciate it! Love you guys!

I was hoping you'd post since I didn't get ahold of you. happy birthday! I'm so glad it was a good one! Ok- I bust out laughing when you mentioned pretty inpink. ha. Clay got you really good gifts! that's so cool! And Twilight! That was really nice of the Phillipps- that martha book sounds cool, just your kind of thing. And I know you'll use it. I love you! That is funny that your work got you cheesecake, and it tasted bad. It's like- what a waste of money- they could have gotten some yummy candy and you would have liked that better. I love you! I'm glad you had a good birthday!

Happy Birthday! The cheesecake thing was pretty funny. It was the thought that counted I guess. Glad that the rest of your day went well.

Do you know how I remember your birthday? Whenever I can't remember the date, I picture you when you were really little saying, "March thirty" Do you remember that? You said it all the time and you were sooo cute. That's how I remember every year.

Happy Birthday again. I'm glad you had a good day and got all that great stuff. Birthdays are so fun.

I've thought about getting that Martha book a couple of times. You'll have to tell me how you like it.

Pretty in Pink....wow, it's probably been 15 years since I saw that movie.

Love you-Lizzie
