Home again home again jiggity jig
Welp, I'm home! I just spent a week in Southern California, and a few days in Seattle.
California was great. Mid-nineties the whole week...it was heaven! Seriously, I love the heat. It's true. Lizzie asked me before I left if I was excited to get away from the heat, and I said without hesitation NO! Ohhh I love the feeling of being baked. No lie. It was a pretty lazy week for me, which was just what I needed.
Seattle was fine. Same as always. We pretty much just changed up the meds...it's becoming very clear I don't have such great circulation which can be a problem. But, we are working on it. Also, my hair has kinda been falling out...don't freak out or anything- I'm not balding, but it's kinda like...every time I run my hand through my hair a bunch of hairs come out...I clog the shower drain everyday...I just always have hair on me. It's no biggie...but I suppose it falls right inline with my thyroid problem, or something. My biggest symptom of this whole Lyme dealio is I'm so tired. I feel so heavy and weighted down. Anyway- we are working on that too. Clay appeared to be doing better...with his physical tests. Like...his circulation seems to be better, and his balance is really good. hah- I know those things don't sound like a huge deal, but they are good signs. But that's basically the report. We are changing our meds around and I'm really excited about that cause the antibiotic we were taking makes us extra sensitive to sunlight, AND we aren't supposed to eat dairy with them. SUCH a pain. So we are DONE with that antibiotic at least until summer is over :) YIPEE! That's pretty much it. Don't feel like talking much about it past that.
Well, starting Monday I'm back to life. BOOOO. That means studying, working, cooking, cleaning...you know the drill. Oh well. I have some fun projects I'm hoping to get to. And the weather is looking up! Life is always better when it's sunny and warm, in my opinion.
Hope everyone is happy and well. Oh yeah- as far as bachelor goes...Bentley? My goodness me. If I ever see him in person, I WILL splash a cup of water or slushy or SOMEthing in his face. I'd say do something physical to him...but I fear I'm not strong enough to make much of an effect. Meh. Anyway- what a meany-head! But, I think my favorite part of the show was probably when the masked man unveiled his face and said, "Hi, I'm Jeff". Oh dear.

pahahhaha on "hi I am jeff" hahah. Love it. Oh danielle i'm so sorry about your lyme, I get so sad when I read about what you have to go through. i'm glad you can have dairy guilt free now. that's wonderful. beautiful back yard. love you.
I love lilacs and they smell so good too. I just wish they would last longer. Glad to hear that things are improving instead of the other way around.
So glad you had fun in california! that sounds pretty fantastic right about now. And any progress sounds like good progress to me, so I'm happy to hear it :)
Love you!
I can't believe you like the heat. That is funny because you lived in Oregon. I guess it's just how you grow up or something. I hate the heat and I live in the heat. I hope everything goes well with your new antibiotics. That lyme sounds like a bitch. I hope you just get feeling better all the way soon. I love your dog. He is huge. What a cutie.
I am so sorry you have Lyme and that it is so very hard. Life is tough when you feel sick all of the time. I have been sick the past month with the bacterial infection and heavy antibodics and it is the PITS!!! I hate being sick. I remember when I had all of that trouble with my ankle after the surgery:-( that wasn't any fun either. Never will forget that for sure it lasted over 6 months. So I can relate to you being sick and tired and I am hoping you start to get better soon. Love the pic of Dante he is really cute. Hugs love you bunches
Sounds like a fun trip, I want dry Western heat again. We watched that movie btw and tell everyone about it, we are trying to educate as many people as we can. Good luck! You guys are great, keep pushing, things will get better.
Dante is HUGE. Glad you're home safe. So . . . can you eat dairy? 'Cause that opens up some recipes. One really cheesy one, in particular.
As far as your hair, it IS long. You'd be clogging the drain anyway, so you may be losing more than normal- but I honestly can't tell you how many of my clients thought they were balding. Everyone on the planet loses 100 hairs a day. So when it's short like a boys, it falls everywhere and blows away and you don't notice. But one REALLY long hair catches on everything and you feel and see it. So 100 hairs is pretty noticable.
I wish I had pretty flowers around. I get SOME and then they die. Now they've all bloomed and are done, unless I go buy some. LOVE YOU!!! LOVE MY PILLOWS! I bought one form, because I have 3 coupons to use 3 separate weekends, so I'm excited to get the other ones!!! Looks great.
I said most of what I wanted to say earlier. I'm with you on the heat! I miss it and love it when the sun comes out. We had a little when we got home and it was so wonderful. Then the clouds came back, :-( oh well, it is still where I want to live!! love and miss you soooo much!
Oh and your backyard is beautiful, and Dante... what can I say but he is so cute!! I am so grateful you and Clay have him!!!
So glad you have a fun trip!! It makes me so sad to read about all the hard things that you have to go through but any progress is good progress so that sounds better!!! you are so strong! I can't even imagine! Love you!!!
