Back in the game

Well, I think I'm finally getting better from my danged cold! I feel like I've been such a loner and pathetic person for the past week. Actually, like...month...ha! Cause for a while I was just so focused on the exam and studying, then quickly after I took the exam I got this horrid cold and have been bummin around for like a week. FINALLY, I am feeling better. Still got a snot nose...but I can deal with that.

It's funny how when you don't work out consistently, you don't miss it. But when you DO work out consistently, you miss it! I have been itching to get back to Zumba... and Clay even told me today, "maybe you shouldn't go...your still not completely better", but I just felt like I needed it. BOY do I feel good. I'm so glad I went. Zumba for me is good physically AND emotionally.

I'm so excited to go to California in a couple weeks! I talk about it daily. It's just gonna be great. And then a month later we'll go to Oregon! What a happy holiday season. I'm trying so hard to resist the temptation to decorate for Christmas early. I just am so excited. I LOVE christmas decorations. Thanksgiving decor is boring :(

I have so many sewing projects its out of control. Not to mention some of the christmas presents I have to make. I have a couple I'm really excited about! Yippee!

Have any of you been watching the news lately? Seriously, I think I realized this week why I love celebrity gossip/news so much...its not DEVASTATING like real world news. This is of course, in regard to the Penn State scandal. I seriously think that if a man molests a child his penis should be cut off. I know that's graphic...but seriously. It's just one of those things I can't comprehend. Also, did you know that over 90% of pedophiles who are released from jail get arrested again for another offense? In my opinion, the other ten percent probably just don't get caught. This is when I think our justice system is messed up. These are the people that deserve LIFE in prison...without a penis :)

Can I tell you how happy I am to be done with the CPA exam? I'm still amazed that I even passed. And so grateful.

I'm probably going to have to get my wisdom teeth removed...which basically sucks. I keep thinking...are we ever going to have a phase in life where we aren't paying all our money to doctors? Of course after we are done with Lyme Disease, we will start paying baby doctors...so you know, it probably will never end!

Well, to end on a happier note...tonight I made a yummy soup and ate it with Clay at the kitchen table, cleaned the entire kitchen, and went to Zumba. To me, that is such a productive day! I am very pleased.

OH YEAH- last thing...Clay and I have been watching Wonder Years before we go to sleep, and it is so fun. We both laugh so much. I love that show. If you want to giggle a lot, or SMILE a lot...watch that show on netflix. When we are watching, I'll realize I am smiling really big, and I look at Clay and so is he :) Just cause the characters are all so sweet, and so funny, its hard not to smile!

Alrighty- that's all for now!

i think grandma nonnie really liked your blog :) I love your posts like this. They're so relatable. Glad you're feeling better. I say just go ahead and decorate for Christmas! I'm having to resist the urge too, but why resist? Stores don't.

I'm glad you're feeling better. We're all better too. I know what you mean, I was feeling like such a lop. We were still sick, but went to Pita Pit just to get out of the house. And later we went on a walk, but it was a little too much, but we both just didn't want to face our living room AGAIN. I haven't watched the News in years. I never could constantly, because of what you said. It was always in spurts. But now I'm REALLY out of it and never know what's going on. The scandal you're talking about- I have no idea what you're talking about. It makes me feel pretty uneducated, but then again, is it really going to benefit me- knowing this particular detail??? I don't know. Yeah, molestation, it's such a terrible and common thing. It blows my mind. I was driving down my back alley and saw this CREEPY looking guy talking to 5 10 yr old boys and I almost stopped to say, "Do any of you KNOW this guy? Does your mother know where you are?" But I didn't know what to do. Then I drove home and told Greg and started freaking out, worried something was going to happen to a boy and I did nothing. And maybe it was NOTHING, I could see Greg randomly talking to a group of boys outside and that doesn't mean anything bad. But all these boys were looking at him like he was awesome and to me, he looked like a total creep and loser. Sigh. There's only so much we can do.

I didn't know you had a cold! Shows how out of it I've been! I'm so sorry! I'm glad you are feeling better! Great blog. Yeah the Penn State thing is awful, and i just can't get over these dumb students who are rioting, thinking that it's wrong to fire him, so crazy. Your soup- you should post the recipe- I LOVE SOUP! and have never made it. I know what you mean about exersize, I really miss walking! Now that Maddie is older, and I've braved going out a few times with success, I'm going to attempt it next week. I hope she likes it because I miss walking so much. Wonder years- haha- we started watching it and mike claims he wasn't into it, but any time I looked at him, he had a HUGE smile on his face! We've been watching Fraiser which is hilarious too. LOVE YOU

loved the blog! I have always read when you are on the mend it is good to exercise, it gets the blood moving which as you know well then allows the good stuff to move around and heal you! Plus like you said, it really affects our emotions. I'm so glad you have Zumba! I love fall decor!! I love my house in the fall. You need to think Fall, not Thanksgiving. I have a few Thanksgiving things I add to my Fall decor. The cool thing about Fall decor is that you can leave it up for 3 months!!! Christmas is only a little over a month! I'm so glad your CPA exam is over, you are getting closer to that license!! love you!!!
